A Rough Morning for Bill
Portland Bill Lighthouse has eluded me for some time; lining up the right conditions with both the sea and the weather is tricky, especially with the thought of a long fruitless journey home at the end if it doesn't go to plan. After a couple of trips and a few false starts I eventually made it to the lighthouse on what turned out to be a morning of very high tides and good light. Watching the waves crashing against the rocks was an experience. The downside was constantly having to avoid getting sea spray on the camera and lens!
