Cadair Idris, Snowdonia

Mint Chocolates and Icing Sugar

Though this picture may look fresh and spring-like it was taken on a freezing cold autumn morning when the sun was low in the sky. There was a cloud inversion which brought the clouds level with the peak of Cadair Idris. Taking photographs was challenging because the view was only clear for a few moments at a time. Within 10 minutes another cloud blew in and shrouded my view completely, reducing visibility to just a few metres.
