The Big Bad Wolf

The first full moon of 2020 was accompanied by a clear sky, providing the perfect conditions for photographing it as a backdrop to Glastonbury Tor. The January Wolf Moon aligns with the Tor in a pleasingly photogenic way as it rises in the north east. It's quite a challenge to capture due to the unpredictability of nature; one lone cloud on the horizon can block the moon's appearance entirely, or wind can shake the camera too much. Practise makes perfect though and patience is important as the alignment only happens one or two times a year.

'The Big Bad Wolf' is also available as a greeting card.
