The views from Winsford Hill are typical of Exmoor and the rolling hills of the Westcountry. This twisted Hawthorn tree caught my eye a few years ago and I really wanted to return to photograph it in blossom during spring. After some planning a very early start allowed me enough time to get into place and capture the golden sunrise breaking over the horizon.
