Title:

Game of Whit

Location:

Porlock Common, Exmoor

About this photo:

The Whit stones have a legend associated with them that says they were thrown as a game by an angel and the devil from nearby Hurlstone Point. However they came to be there they overlook some stunning scenery towards Dunkery Beacon and in mid summer are surrounded by colourful heather that grows all over Porlock Common.
