Ystradfellte Common is an interesting expanse of moorland just above the village of Ystradfellte in the Brecon Beacons. It's one of a few locations in the Brecon Beacons that features limestone outcrops. In places these rocks look like jagged jigsaw puzzles whose features have been worn away over time. The limestone surrounding this Hawthorn tree is interesting as it looks like it has fallen out of the sky and embedded itself in the earth.
