Betjeman's Beauty
Using a tripod, I was able to photograph this scene over several seconds, blurring anything that moved. I wanted there to be a visual link between sea and sky, so I picked a moment when clouds floated overhead to add a little texture to the pastel glow of dusk. Bits of seaweed and rocks just beneath the surface of the water created the dark textures in the foreground as the waves washed over them.
