Where's E.T.?
I drove miles over the Mendip Hills on a foggy morning before ending up with this picture. All the locations I'd normally visit were either completely shrouded in fog or were grey and boring. My old favourite of Stockhill Woods came up trumps as the sun was starting to break through the fog. This patch of woodland looked particularly photogenic. I imagined a UFO landing out of sight beyond the trees, creating the rays of light you see here.
