Firewall
Taken during one of the most intense sunsets I've photographed, this scene takes in a wonderful view of Westbury-sub-Mendip and the Somerset levels beyond, all the way to the Quantock Hills on the far horizon. Timing was the important part of this picture - a heavy raincloud was passing overhead, deluging the landscape but leaving behind it crystal clear air which allowed the intense sun to shine through brilliantly and illuminate the landscape.
